Job Summary
Oversee the Security department and serve as the Facility Security Officer, managing classified programs and ensuring strict compliance with DoD, FAA, and NISP regulations. Lead the strategy and continuous improvement of the Insider Threat Program, establishing risk assessments and monitoring frameworks to safeguard sensitive assets. Prepare for all security audits, inspections, and vulnerability assessments while serving as the primary contact for ITAR compliance and physical security perimeters. Develop badge processes, update Facility Security Clearance documentation, and manage personnel security clearances via DISS. Partner with MRO teams to ensure classified aircraft and data are physically segregated, enforce OPSEC and COMSEC protocols, and deliver security awareness training for all staff.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience in the field of U.S. government security operations and procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Ramp Pass
- U.S. Government Clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of relevant state, federal and/or international compliance laws and regulations (e.g., International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements)
- Secret clearance, or the ability to be approved for a clearance
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Excellent communication skills with customers and employees
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
