Job Summary
Security Manager responsible for physical security oversight and technology systems at AVI Foodsystems HQ. Oversee access control, CCTV, alarms, and perimeter security; develop and enforce security policies and procedures; ensure regulatory compliance and support audits; manage security technology infrastructure and IT integration for cybersecurity alignment; maintain documentation and reporting on incidents, inspections, and risks; collaborate with leadership, loss prevention, HR, IT, and law enforcement; lead security awareness training and vendor relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5+ years proven experience in security operations, law enforcement or military
- Regulatory knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
- Proficiency with access control systems, video surveillance systems, alarm and intrusion detection systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage personnel and vendor relations
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, expense analysis, and vendor contract negotiation
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours
