Job Summary
Oversee daily safety operations, manage security officers and supervisors, and respond to emergencies involving fire, injuries, or safety concerns. Conduct departmental key control audits, monitor surveillance equipment, and perform regular property patrols to identify and report hazardous conditions. Hire, train, and develop security personnel while leading incident investigations into accidents, thefts, and policy violations. Coordinate staff safety education with the Vice President of loss prevention and safety and report fire or health hazards in the Daily Activity Report. Assist guests regarding hotel facilities where applicable. This full-time exempt role at Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts requires 2-4 years of security or law enforcement experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and 401k matching.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 Years of Security, Loss Prevention, or Military/Law Enforcement Experience
- 2+ Years of Leadership experience including performance management, scheduling, and training plan development
- Highschool Diploma or GED Required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- clear and concise communication
- Technical proficiency with electronic security/surveillance systems
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Technical proficiency with PowerPoint
- Technical proficiency with Word
- This is a full-time, exempt position with expectation to work necessary business hours to ensure business needs are met during all operating hours
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality Experience Preferred
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Hospitality, Corporate Security, or related field preferred
