Job Summary
Oversee daily security operations including manned guarding, mobile patrols, and CCTV monitoring to ensure client contracts and company standards are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing concerns promptly while leading and scheduling a team of supervisors and guards. Ensure compliance with security licensing, health and safety regulations, and emergency protocols through regular performance evaluations and standard operating procedure enforcement. Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records, and respond to urgent incidents or operational issues after hours if necessary. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support business development by identifying potential new contracts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in the security industry or a related field (law enforcement, military, or risk management)
- Valid British Columbia Security Worker License (or ability to obtain)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to work flexible hours or on-call as needed for a 24/7 operation
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, security management, or a related field
- A total of 5+ years of experience in security operations
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Any security management credentials (e.g. Certified Protection Professional)
- Familiarity with scheduling or security incident software
- Canadian work experience
