Job Summary
Develop and manage DHA's insider threat policy and procedures, coordinating with the Pentagon Force Protection Agency to conduct Anti-terrorism assessments across all National Capitol Region locations. Execute United States Northern Commend AT assessments, develop site-specific plans and policies, and provide employee training support to DHA personnel. Gather meeting information to create guidance, generate monthly reporting and statistics, and customize drills and improvement plans per site direction. Assist the Physical Security team with Mission Assurance responsibilities, analyze client needs to determine systems requirements, and participate in problem-solving and recommendation processes. Moderate travel may be required. Located at Joint Base San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- comprehensive Insider Threat program knowledge based upon DoD and Federal requirements (ISC) as well as industry best practices
- Experienced Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO)
- Proficient understanding of ISC guidelines in relation to Physical Security
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Possesses critical thinking skills
- MS Office Tools required (Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of management principles, organizational theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation
- Knowledge of administrative regulations and operating procedures
- Knowledge of the mission, functions, and structure of the organization, and able obtain data and information regarding work operations and to prepare a report of findings
- A working knowledge of the United States Military and the Department of Defense to include but not limited to ranks and titles of uniformed service members
- Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs to determine systems requirements as they apply to the client's management systems
- Ability to review client requirements and participate in client problem-solving and in the recommendation process
- Ability to identify best practices, change management, business management techniques, and organizational development to move Mission Assurance goals/objectives forward
- Ability to create and assess oversight for compliance
- Ability to create, document, communicate, update, and investigate reported incidents
- Able to create/innovate new tactics and policy
- BS (or equivalent experience) in management related discipline
- 2-4 years of related experience
- Minimum Secret Clearance; able to obtain Top Secret clearance if needed
- Moderate travel may be required
