Job Summary
Security Managed Services Specialist responsible for 24x7 security monitoring as part of an analysis team, analyzing logs/traffic/alerts from various devices, responding to customer requests, researching threats and recommending improvements to detection capabilities, and contributing to process improvements. Requires SOC operations experience, SIEM and threat hunting tooling, cyber security fundamentals, security devices, and experience with or knowledge of SOAR platforms. Strong communication, customer-facing skills, and adaptability are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in SOC operations with customer-facing responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in SIEM and threat hunting tools
- Deep understanding of cyber security fundamentals, security devices, network defense concepts and threat landscape
- Added advantage in working with any SOAR platform
- Desirable knowledge in any scripting language and EDR products
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Clear communication at all levels (verbal and written)
- Adaptability to change
