Job Summary
Conduct floor patrols and monitor closed circuit TV cameras to identify and apprehend shoplifters. Draft detailed report writing and interact with local law enforcement as needed. Provide courtroom testimony when required. Maintain assertive yet controlled demeanor during confrontations while working under little or no direct supervision. Attend scheduled shifts with strict adherence to attendance policies. This full-time role offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick days, and a 401K plan. Shifts include the 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screening
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience
- Criminal Justice or related studies
