Job Summary
Conduct floor patrols and utilize Closed Circuit TV Cameras to identify and apprehend shoplifters. Write detailed reports and interact with local law enforcement as needed. Provide courtroom testimony when required. Maintain assertive yet controlled behavior during confrontations while working under little or no direct supervision. Attend scheduled shifts punctually, as tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated. This full-time role offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid vacation and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screening
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience
- Criminal Justice or related studies
