Job Summary
Coordinate security operations at the assigned job site and provide first-line supervision to the security workforce under the Security Captain. Ensure services comply with contract scope, policies, post orders, and laws while managing incident reports, personnel evaluations, and discipline recommendations. Schedule staffing adjustments to meet manpower requirements, supervise on-the-job training, and coach staff to maintain performance standards. Safely operate vehicles, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety programs are followed by all personnel. Maintain composure in stressful situations and promote a professional workplace environment. Rotational 1 week on/1 week off schedule; full-time regular employment with health, life, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of prior experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, or private security
- Valid driver's license
- State Unarmed Security Officer License
- Ability to lead with professionalism, respect and integrity at all times
- Ability to teach and train others
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong decision making and incident/event management skills
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen
- Must be able to successfully complete a post-offer physical evaluation
- Must be available to provide back-up support for personnel on duty as needed
- Safely operate a motor vehicle in a variety of settings and varying weather conditions
- May be required to respond to urgent matters on weekends and evenings
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of security services and developing Security Post Orders in the private sector
- Knowledge and ability to develop and maintain a Security Officer Training Program
- Advanced skills utilizing common office related computer programs plus ability to learn proprietary programs unique to client (CCTS)
