Job Summary
As a Security Officer, you are responsible for securing the facility, conducting ID checks, screening patrons for weapons or illegal substances, and managing aggressive or disruptive guests. Duties include reporting incidents, monitoring restaurant premises including parking areas, managing designated smoking areas, and collaborating with coworkers for safety. Applicants must have a high school diploma, be physically able to stand for long periods and lift weight, possess basic computer skills, and have effective communication skills. Previous security experience and CPR/First Aid certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- CPR/first Aid certified
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the field of security
- Continuing educating/training in the field of security completed annually
