Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate all event security operations across the Coliseum, leading pre-event planning, security briefings, and guest screening procedures. Monitor crowds to ensure proper flow during high-attendance events while responding to incidents, altercations, or medical emergencies with professionalism. Protect participants, livestock, and property by maintaining a strong security presence, conducting routine hazard inspections, and training usher personnel. Serve as the liaison between local Law Enforcement and Fire Department to ensure effective collaboration for joint initiatives. Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for management and authorities as needed, ensuring compliance with Cowtown Coliseum, ASM Global/Legends policies, Texas state regulations, and public safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Working knowledge of crowd control
- Working knowledge of access management
- Working knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Strong leadership skills
- Decision-making skills
- Conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with large crowds and livestock
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AED certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Valid Texas security license (Level II or III)
