Job Summary
Monitor store entrances and manage traffic flow while checking employee coats and bags. Observe the sales floor for theft, handle violations of building policy, and de-escalate conflicts to ensure guest and staff safety. Manage crowds forming outside the store, assist with product releases, and support the Head of Security during emergencies. Perform standard housekeeping duties including dusting and trash collection. Requires a valid State Security Guard License and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays
- Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business' needs require
- Valid State Security Guard License/Certificate, or Guard Card
- 2-3 years as Security
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts
- Ability to lift and move 25lbs
- Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years in Loss Prevention preferred but not required
- 1-3 years in a customer facing environment
- 1+ years in a Retail/Apparel environment
