Job Summary
Control building access, patrol to prevent theft, and manage incidents involving homeless or intoxicated individuals while de-escalating conflicts and reporting to management. Respond to emergencies following protocols, work with law enforcement when needed, and maintain a security presence that assists customers and staff. Support the Shift Manager in studio operations, technical issues, and guest services by greeting members, handling inquiries, and maintaining clean studio spaces. Perform ad hoc tasks across departments as needed, ensuring safety and guest experience are prioritized above all.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security and public safety
- Self-motivated with a strong orientation to work collaboratively and an 'all hands on deck' attitude
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and respond to incidents
- 1-2 years in customer service or hospitality, ideally with a premium brand
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid/CPR or willingness to obtain certification
- A personal interest in health and fitness
