Job Summary
This role involves the installation of complex integrated security systems, including wiring, access control systems, CCTV, and digital recorders. Candidates should have the ability to install cabling and field equipment in accordance with national electric codes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting during installation using electronic test equipment, reading blueprints and manuals, conducting end-user training, and performing system checks. The position requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma and A+ certification are mandatory, along with significant experience with security systems and networking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- A+ certification
- 3+ years experience in Digital & Analog Camera Systems
- 3+ years experience in Access Control Systems
- 2+ years experience with IP addressable security devices
- Advanced TCP/IP networking skills
- Ability to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record
- Proficient with ADT A.I. core card access and CCTV systems
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree or 2-year technical school program graduate preferred
- Specialized training/certification in Access Control systems
- Certifications in CCTV systems
