Job Summary
Review scan results and validate findings for vulnerability management activities across AWS and Kubernetes environments. Support triage of security findings from internal tools and external sources, while analyzing logs and alerts from SIEM systems to identify potential security issues. Participate in basic security incident investigations and documentation, and assist in implementing and improving security controls. Support efforts to improve detection capabilities and monitoring coverage, and learn by contributing to securing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows. Work with engineering teams to understand and address security issues.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and security fundamentals
- Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools
- Interest in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure systems
- Basic knowledge of common security concepts (e.g., vulnerabilities, authentication, OWASP Top 10)
- Exposure to programming or scripting (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Exposure to logging, monitoring, or SIEM tools
