Job Summary
Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security; control site access and manage visitors, contractors, and deliveries; respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner; provide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence; observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues; maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and liaise with relevant services when required.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate II (mandatory) in Security
- Certificate III in Security (desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory)
- Working with Children’s Check (mandatory)
- Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and concerns
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a good understanding of safety procedures
