Job Summary
Conduct physical security patrols, regulate personnel movement, and investigate unusual events at CCR-L. Respond to alarms and emergency situations by summoning security staff, police, or fire services as needed. Visually check access badges, escort visitors, and maintain sign-in logs while ensuring the protection of sensitive materials. Perform receptionist duties using a computerized visitor control system and assist with loading supplies or relocating furniture. Work rotating shifts, including overtime and hours outside regular schedules, while adhering to all Guard Force Procedures and security clearance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of work experience
- Ability to use a computer and associated software
- Ability to cover facility and conduct security rounds
- Ability to respond on short notice to alarms or emergency situations
- Ability to lift packages or materials weighing 10 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Must be prepared to work different shifts and overtime hours on short notice as needs dictate
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
