Job Summary
The Security Guard performs routine security activities under direct supervision to protect buildings, property, and ensure safety for occupants and visitors. Responsibilities include securing and monitoring entrances, patrolling grounds, completing logs and reports, assisting with traffic and crowd control, responding to inquiries, and maintaining communication with personnel using two-way radios. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to fulfill physical demands such as extensive walking, carrying, and working in various weather conditions.

- Ability to complete basic reports
- Ability to detect situations imperiling life, safety, and property
- Ability to perform extensive sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to operate two way radios and telephones
