Job Summary
Provide security services across Vancouver Island and Yukon sites, handling access control, mobile patrols, and emergency response while delivering high-quality customer service. Training provided to obtain BC security licenses; opportunities for advancement and a range of shifts. Requires computer literacy, strong problem solving, incident reporting, and fluent English, with ability to work independently and in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Possess Government of Canada secret (level II) security clearance or have the ability to obtain one
- Be willing to obtain a BC security worker's license
- Be comfortable using computers
- Fluent in English (written, verbal, reading)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
- Strong communication and incident reporting skills
- Training and licensing support provided
- Ability to handle varied shifts including days, evenings, and overnight
- Experience in access control and patrol duties
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
