Job Summary
Security Guard for events at a growing hospitality company in North San Diego County. Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling access to the event venue, patrolling for unsafe conditions, responding to incidents (fire, medical emergencies, weather, safety violations), collaborating with onsite management to resolve security issues, assisting with onsite transport of alcohol, and completing incident reports. Requires strong communication, ability to stay calm under pressure, knowledge of security protocols, ability to stand/walk long hours, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, active Guard Card, and availability Thursday through Sunday. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as security or as event security
- Minimum of 1 year in a client facing service or hospitality role
- Must have active Guard Card
- Must have availability to work Thursday through Sunday
