Job Summary
Surveillance Security Guard responsible for monitoring CCTV and security systems, detecting suspicious activity, controlling gate access including truck inspections, patrolling interior/exterior perimeters, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting observations in reports. Requires valid security license, ability to author detailed reports, first aid certification, strong focus and eyesight, and comfort with technology. Position offers flexible shifts (full-time and part-time opportunities) in Ontario, Canada with GardaWorld, uniform provided, and potential career growth; on-site role with entry-level to mid-level responsibilities and opportunities across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Experience monitoring CCTV cameras and security systems
- Experience with access control for employees, visitors, and trucks
- Desire to coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services
