Job Summary
Conduct patrols, monitor access, deter unauthorized entry, and enforce security measures while collaborating with the Security Operations Center to respond to calls for service and report suspicious activity. Respond promptly and safely to emergencies, contact first responders as needed, and take initial action to control and secure a scene. Proactively investigate and report accidents, incidents, or other suspicious activity by documenting events in detailed Daily Activity Reports or Incident Reports. Perform light front desk duties including greeting visitors, verifying access, and creating a positive first impression. Handle physical demands of static or foot patrol responsibilities and de-escalate situations with courtesy. Work independently and adapt to varying work paces while remaining focused. Hourly rate $32.50-$36.00; PTE schedule Monday-Sunday with swing and grave shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with client staff and guests
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
- Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify for a certification
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
