Job Summary
Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility, monitor the environment for suspicious activity, and enforce building policies while greeting customers and visitors professionally. Answer all phones, permit authorized entry, conduct required patrols on foot or in vehicle, and observe departing personnel to protect company property. Monitor alarms and systems, follow emergency action plans, and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities as directed. Requires a state or municipality mandated security officer license, high school diploma, and reliable communication and transportation. Open availability schedule with competitive hourly pay including health, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- State or municipality mandated security officer licenses
- Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent
- Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period
- Must have reliable means of communication and transportation
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
