Security Guard, Substitute

Provide security coverage at the campus access gate and patrol assigned areas to ensure positive group relations and protect life and property. Monitor center grounds and surrounding vicinities, resolving potential problems while checking doors, windows, and emergency equipment. Issue visitor badges and parking permits, maintain accountability logs, and distribute petty cash. Assist in emergency evacuations, respond to fire alarms, and conduct investigations of crimes or unauthorized activities. Review student problems with counselors and assume supervisory responsibility for safety activities when assigned. Perform administrative functions including incident reports and act as center dispatcher as needed. When directed, overtime is expected and regular attendance is required.
