Job Summary
Ensure access control policies are followed, monitor CCTV cameras, and conduct regular interior and exterior foot patrols. Respond to alarms and calls for assistance, sign visitors in and out with ID checks, and liaise with Police, Fire, and EMS during incidents. Complete site reporting requirements, daily logs, and incident reports using software and paper formats. Operate the company patrol vehicle in accordance with policy and adjust schedules as requested to maintain service continuity. Maintain high personal appearance standards and professional working relationships with employees, visitors, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Resident in Canada 10 years or longer
- Clean record
- Clean credit history
- Ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client
- High attention to detail
- Customer service
- Highly reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
