Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in retail malls, including common areas, entrances, parking, and the property perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed. Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Maintain a visible presence and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance issues per site procedures. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications. Work day shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
