Job Summary
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while safeguarding clients in commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government sectors. Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, providing customer service through safety procedures and emergency response activities. Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, visitor records, and utilize access-control systems, radios, and cameras to maintain site security. Shift hours include 12-hour day or overnight rotations from 5am to 5pm or 5pm to 5am. Candidates must possess 12+ months of security experience, a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean record, and a guard card if required by Arizona DPS.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ months of security experience
- Arizona drivers license for over one year - with a clean driving record
- Valid guard card/security officer license if required by Arizona DPS
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and conduct regular patrols
- Basic ability to use computers, radios, cameras, access-control systems, and incident-reporting software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
