Job Summary
Security Guard position at CHEO in Ottawa providing security for patients, staff and visitors, including patrols, responding to code calls, escorting to parking lots and pathology/morgue, enforcing parking regulations, monitoring video surveillance and access control, and writing incident reports. Must hold a Diploma in Law and Security or Police Sciences with at least two years of related experience and a valid Ontario Security Guard License; strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills; preferred non-violent crisis intervention and fall-prevention certifications; bilingual English/French preferred; vulnerable sector check required. Role includes potential relocation reimbursement and is based in Ottawa with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
