Job Summary
Conduct interior building checks, including vacant, occupied, and equipment storage areas, while ensuring access control is followed and client property is secured. Escort visitors as required, maintain positive relationships with employees, visitors, and clients, and uphold high standards of personal appearance and deportment. Respond to alarms and utilize alarm panels, secure and open access gates as directed, and complete daily logs and written reports. Perform physical checks of buildings at directed intervals and maintain positive radio communication throughout roving patrols. Work Monday to Sunday from 1800 to 0600hrs at CFB Borden, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history)
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to complete frequent patrols
- Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently)
- Highly reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak French is consider an asset
