Job Summary
Provide customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly while communicating details to site contacts and leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, parking, and perimeter points, to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe daily activity, and document security concerns in written reports. Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders. Requires a New York State Security Guard License, age 21+, and CPR/First Aid certification. Schedule includes Mon-Sun shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A New York State Security Guard License
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid is preferred
- CPR Certification is preferred
