Job Summary
De-escalate tense situations using verbal communication techniques to reduce risk. Escort medical staff, police, and firefighters when required, and respond to medical emergencies by performing CPR and AED if needed. Monitor CCTV footage for irregularities, perform dispatch duties, and conduct foot patrols inside and outside the facility. Operate gates at gatehouse locations, screening all visitors and truck drivers, while inspecting trailers to ensure doors are locked and sealed before departure. Unlock and lock doors for authorized access, denying entry to unauthorized individuals. Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors immediately when breaches occur. Assist mobile operations teams with security protocols and enhance security at strategic locations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- 1 years of security experience minimum within large scale security operations
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response
- G class drivers' license
- Your own vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Red Cross certification
- Customer service experience
