Job Summary
Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site, making periodic patrols to check for irregularities, inspect protection devices, and enforce site regulations. Control access through the admittance process while checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unauthorized persons, and mechanical problems. Respond to incidents including fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous materials, and prepare required logs and reports. Schedule changes on a two-week rotation covering Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts running from midnight to noon or noon to midnight. Must meet applicable licensing requirements for security guards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable licensing requirements for Security Guards
- Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly
- Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
