Job Summary
Monitor security cameras, follow post orders and Allegiance policy, and assist management in delegated duties. Stand or walk constantly on various surfaces while obtaining detailed statements, writing reports, and interviewing to document information professionally. Assist in investigations concerning loss or damage of client property and handle public relations by dealing tactfully with the public. Detect safety hazards within the building, communicate with appropriate staff, and adhere to all mandated safety requirements. This role involves rotating weekend shifts with occasional weekday fill-in hours for the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening
- Ability to work all shifts
- Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders
- Ability to cope with stressful work situations
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Guard License
