Job Summary
PRN Security Guard at The Marshes of Skidaway Island provides entry-level security with a hospitality-focused approach on an as-needed schedule. Responsibilities include credential verification of visitors, checking safety equipment (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors), light maintenance and resident assistance (e.g., helping with electronic equipment or transporting items), and responding to resident emergencies in coordination with a Staff Nurse. Requires HS diploma or GED, Georgia driver’s license, basic computer skills, strong customer service, and at least one year in a security role; healthcare experience is preferred. Outdoor work in various weather is expected; drug screening and background check are required. The role offers a benefits suite and DailyPay access."
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- Current Driver’s License issued in Georgia
- Must demonstrate moderate computer skills
- High level of customer service orientation
- At least one year’s experience in a similar, active security position
- Preferred experience in healthcare environment
- Must be able to work in outdoor environment in various weather conditions and around wildlife and pets
- Will require Drug Screen and clean Background Investigation
- CNA or EMS training a plus
