Job Summary
Ensure daily post orders are completed, monitor plant activity, and conduct hourly rounds checking trailer and room temperatures while monitoring all building access and car traffic. Operate company vehicles, weigh trailers in and out, inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability, receive shipments of supplies and raw materials, and answer the switchboard after hours. Follow and implement company policies while billing loads. Work any shift in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow, performing assigned tasks without direct supervision. Minimum high school diploma required; security experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather conditions, and up/down stairs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
- Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively under stress
- Attention to detail
- Professional attitude
- Ability to work any shift
- Minimum High School diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Strong computer skills preferred
- Security experience a plus
