Job Summary
Conduct daily post rounds monitoring plant activity, checking trailer and room temperatures, and inspecting gates. Weigh trailers in and out using master scales and answer switchboard calls after hours. Monitor all associates entering or exiting the building and car traffic while operating company vehicles. Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials, and ensure location post orders are completed daily. Implement company policies and maintain trailers for cleanliness and operability. Work any shift in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, and snow, while walking over one mile on varying terrain.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather conditions, and up/down stairs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
- Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively under stress
- Attention to detail
- Professional attitude
- Ability to work any shift
- Minimum High School diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Strong computer skills preferred
- Security experience a plus
