Job Summary
Monitor, document, and control traffic flow entering and exiting company property while greeting employees, visitors, and contractors. Direct traffic, authorize entrances and departures, and ensure all individuals comply with MSHA regulations and safety policies. Write reports of irregularities, notify appropriate parties of incidents, and conduct site-specific training for new visitors. Inspect outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of property and maintain clean work areas. Work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must hold a valid non-commercial driver's license
- Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner
- Must be able to work in adverse working conditions such as heat, wet, cold, noise, etc.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand and walk long periods of time
- Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
