Job Summary
Security Guard role based in Penticton, BC, focusing on enforcing property standards, access control, and safety procedures. Responsibilities include responding to medical emergencies (First Aid/CPR/AED), patrolling the property on foot, investigating incidents, drafting incident reports, monitoring CCTV, de-escalating crisis situations, and assisting with daily operations. Required Qualifications
- Valid BC Security license
- Valid OFA 1 certificate
- Must have at least 1 year of prior Security experience
- Experience in Loss Prevention / Retail Security is considered an asset
- Ability to stand, walk and patrol by foot for extended periods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- English language proficiency (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environments
- Ability to maintain professionalism and handle stress
