Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas at a data center location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate contacts. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while verifying credentials to deter unauthorized access. Support daily operations by observing equipment areas and communicating security-related matters to site personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card and/or license is preferred
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
