Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including facilities, offices, parking, and perimeter zones, to deter incidents and identify hazards. Respond to access concerns, critical situations, and emergency activities while maintaining a visible professional presence. Support visitor and employee entry procedures and provide customer service at a technology-focused location. Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications using available technology. Work part-time shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at a San Jose, CA site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of security-related experience
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
