Job Summary
Monitor assigned areas in a government facility by conducting regular foot patrols, verifying visitor authorization, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. Respond to disturbances and critical situations calmly while providing customer service to staff and visitors. Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed. This part-time role includes day and night shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM or midnight to 8 AM in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- At least one year of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Valid driver's license
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
