Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe, secure environment for residents, staff, and property. Patrol the premises with high visibility; monitor entrances/exits to permit access only to authorized personnel; remove trespassers when necessary; monitor surveillance cameras; respond to reports of suspicious activity; and report daily activities and security incidents. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, strong written and verbal communication, ability to operate surveillance equipment, and a commitment to integrity and professionalism. Shift is Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (16 hours/week) with potential for additional shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in security or public safety preferred
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Attention to detail
- High level of integrity and professionalism
