Job Summary

Conduct scheduled foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards. Monitor entrances, exits, and parking areas to enforce access control and visitor procedures. Observe and report suspicious activity, safety issues, or violations of facility policy to supervisors or law enforcement as appropriate. Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, providing assistance and coordination with first responders. Prepare clear, detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations. Perform security checks of doors, gates, lighting, and surveillance systems to ensure proper operation. Provide courteous assistance to employees, community members, and visitors while maintaining a professional presence. Support special events and community gatherings with crowd control and traffic management as assigned. Follow established protocols, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state driver's license
Safe driving record
Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security certifications or licenses as required by local regulations
Ability to obtain and maintain current First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of hire
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet mission requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to maintain alertness and situational awareness during long shifts and while working independently
Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including running short distances or physically intervening when safety or security is at risk
Ability to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet mission requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet mission requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to perform prolonged foot patrols and operate a vehicle for extended periods during vehicle patrols, including in low-light or inclement weather conditions
