Job Summary
Conduct security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle, watching for irregular conditions that may create safety hazards. Sound alarms or call police/fire for unauthorized persons or fires, warn violators of rule infractions, and permit authorized entry while monitoring exits. Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and investigate accidents or suspicious activities, preparing required written logs. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice using the exclusive shift-pickup platform.
Required Qualifications
- Active DOD Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of verifiable experience
- Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
- Background investigation
- Drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- 21 years of age if armed
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience
