Job Summary
Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records. Control access to restricted areas, issue badges, and report unauthorized access attempts. Provide customer service to drivers and visitors while conducting regular patrols of trailer yards and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Work part-time shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
