Security Guard (Part Time)

Job Summary
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft while ensuring fan safety through proactive personal interaction. Check identification of fans under 30 drinking alcohol, patrol premises to detect intrusion, and operate detecting devices to screen individuals for prohibited articles. Lead emergency evacuations, enforce policies on recording devices, and apprehend or evict violators of rules. Write daily reports on irregularities such as theft or property damage. Requires a California Guard Card, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Part-time, hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- California Guard Card
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
- Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs and occasional sitting
