Job Summary
Security Guard at ADESA Flint (Part Time) who will patrol gates, verify authorized entry, greet customers, assist vendors and transporters, and maintain security of premises and assets. Duties include preventing theft, de-escalating conflicts, reporting irregularities, managing keys/codes, and ensuring proper operation of equipment. Requires 1-2 years of customer-service experience, strong communication, data entry ability, ability to work 2nd shift and weekends, and a High School diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to stand for extended periods and hold a valid driver’s license; role is in-person and site-based in Flint, MI.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience within a customer service environment
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicles
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
- Requires computer data entry skills
- Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
- Requires standing for extended periods
- Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance
- English literacy (read, write, speak, and understand)
