Job Summary
Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the Cowichan Community Centre and Aquatic Centre facilities. Monitor access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas and respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and customer concerns. Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues, then complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence and work closely with facility staff, emergency responders, and the public. This full-time or part-time role requires a valid BC Security Worker Licence, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work seven days a week in various weather conditions.
