Job Summary
Security Guard at New Brunswick Counseling Center responsible for securing entrances and perimeters, escorting disruptive or unauthorized persons off premises, patrolling facilities, reporting suspicious incidents, assisting with telehealth setup and light sanitation, providing first aid/CPR, and supporting safety trainings and inspections. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, SORA certification, CPR certification, and willingness to pass screenings; healthcare/mental health security experience preferred. Schedule is part-time (18–22 hours/week) with morning shifts Monday–Friday and a Saturday morning rotation; duties also include answering phones, directing inquiries, and helping with supplies. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- SORA certification (must be maintained/renewed)
- CPR certification
- Security experience in healthcare/mental health settings preferred
- Ability to stand for shifts and interact professionally with the public
