Job Summary
Conduct security screenings for all personnel entering and exiting secure production areas to ensure only authorized equipment access. Read, apply, and document Security Operation Procedures (SOP) while performing function checks on walk-through and handheld metal detectors at shift start. Write and review Shift Activity Reports, monitor checkpoint traffic flow, and recommend staffing adjustments to the Shift Security Supervisor. Identify prohibited items, prevent unauthorized removal, and escalate violations or issues per chain of command. Work Sunday-Thursday 2300-0700hrs or Monday-Friday 1500-2300hrs at an AI infrastructure site in Vaughan.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response
- 3 years of security experience or 5 years of customer service experience with direct customer facing experience
- Strong communication and written skills
- Ability to follow procedure and be detail oriented
- Be able to work in an isolated and quiet environment
- Access to your own vehicle
- Must be available for Sunday-Thursday 2300-0700hrs
- Must be available for Monday to Friday 1500-2300hrs
